Director of Development and Communications

Rachel Kuhn Rachel Kuhn is the Director of Development and Communications for Enchanted Circle Theater. Rachel has a BA in English from Tufts University. Rachel has worked in non-profits for the past 12 years. She has five years experience as a Domestic Violence Counselor and Counseling Trainer.

Rachel has spent many years in non-profit administration. She was the Counseling Program Director at the Greater Newburyport Women’s Crisis Center where she created, designed and implemented a full system of support groups as well a 40-hour Domestic Violence Counselor training certification program and accompanying handbook. As Director of Volunteers for Travelers Aid Boston, Rachel designed a volunteer program from the ground up, including a 20-hour training program for 40 volunteer airport ambassadors, a volunteer handbook and mentoring program. Rachel’s development experience includes grant writing, event planning, design of logo and marketing materials as well as creating overall development strategies.

Rachel has been with Enchanted Circle Theater for 9 years. In addition to her development work at ECT, Rachel is the editor of the annual newsletter, and co-author and assistant director of BETWEEN THE CANALS: The Evolution of a Mill Town, THE SKINNER SERVANTS' TOUR: A Living History of Wistariahurst, and Leah Enters Late: A New Page in the Story of Yiddish, all site-based historical dramas.
