Teachers: This section is for you!
Enchanted Circle Theater is dedicated to developing and providing resources for teachers to help them integrate theater arts into their teaching to engage their students in memorable learning experiences. “I looked out at my students as we were reading from their textbooks and saw them glaze over, and I thought to myself… ‘What would Enchanted Circle do?’ So, I asked for 5 volunteers to join me at the front of the class to act out what happens to molecules as they get heated. All of their hands went up! I talked them through the process of transformation and the five students vibrated as molecules, slowly at first, and then with increased intensity as their temperature’s rose. This process of embodying the scientific process took all of 5 minutes, and the class was riveted.”
