Andrea Spak

Andrea is most excited about working to build Enchanted Circle’s future and growth using her extensive experience in fund development and senior management in a number of Connecticut-based non-profits. Her previous work has focused on education, civil rights, and social justice issues to improve the lives of children and families. She has raised millions of dollars from individuals, corporations, foundations and public funding sources to support children’s rights, educational programs, historic preservation, legal advocacy, training and services, community development and affordable housing.
She was formerly the Director of Development at the Harriet Beecher Stowe Center in Hartford, Connecticut, where she successfully created, directed and implemented multifaceted strategies for comprehensive fund development resulting in organizational transformation. Her prior experiences include Director of Planning and Development at the Center for Children’s Advocacy at the University of Connecticut School of Law, and Development Officer at the Connecticut Housing Investment Fund.
Andrea has a BA in Political Science from the University of Connecticut at Storrs. She lives in Tolland, Connecticut with her husband and their two sons.
